TKP S.A. - operator of 3S Slaskie Sieci Swiatlowodowe (Silesian fibre-optic networks) - operator of telecommunication networks in the region of Silesia and Zaglebie. Collaboration with 3S enables 4vod to use fibre-optic network to send television signal and content to operators. Owing to this infrastructure, 4vod is able to offer unique models of cooperation with broadcasters and TV content producers. Expensive satellite solutions or low-quality Internet links can be replaced with direct connection with the viewer receiving IPTV service.

SGT S.A. (Silesian telecommunication group) seated in Gliwice launched the first interactive digital TV in the region of Silesia. SGT is formed by local Internet operators using fibre-optic infrastructure. The broad range of SGT's services includes: HD TV channels, Video on Demand (VOD), facilities for communication between the users, Internet access via TV sets and Electronic Program Guide (EPG). SGT operates in the territory of the Silesian province.


Through its collaboration with SGT, 4vod can implement VOD services in ETTH networks cooperating with SGT using SGT's infrastructure, thus boosting the competitive edge of the ETTH operators and providing their subscribers with new services. More information: www.sgtsa.pl
